  • 12 pieces slider buns
  • 1 pound turkey breast, deli or roasted For healthier option, use low sodium turkey.
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese Can substitute with provolone or mozzarella.
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted Can substitute with olive oil for a healthier option.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns horizontally and place the bottom halves into a baking dish.
  3. Evenly layer the turkey slices and Swiss cheese over the bottom halves of the buns.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture over the top halves of the buns.
  5. Place the top halves back onto the layered bottoms, then cover the baking dish with aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for another 5-10 minutes, or until tops are golden brown.
  7. Once baked, let sliders cool slightly and serve warm.
