  • 1/2 cup red onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup celery (diced)
Dressing Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used as a lighter alternative.
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill (optional, for garnish)

Method

Preparation
  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Rinse the pasta under cold water after draining to stop the cooking process.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the drained tuna, chopped dill pickles, finely chopped red onion, and diced celery.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Pour the dressing over the tuna mixture and gently mix until combined.
  6. Fold in the cooled pasta with a spatula to keep it from breaking.
  7. Toss everything together until well combined and adjust seasoning if needed.
  8. Cover the bowl and let the salad chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
