  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  2. Once browned, drain any excess fat from the skillet.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, enchilada sauce, chopped green chiles, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine.
  5. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes until heated through.
  6. If using, sprinkle shredded cheese over the top and cover the skillet until melted.
  7. Finally, garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
