Preparation
- Remove the frozen cheesecake from its packaging and cut it into small 1-inch squares.
- Keep the cheesecake pieces in the freezer while you prepare the batter.
Frying
- Heat about 3 inches of vegetable oil to 360°F (182°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the pancake mix, egg, milk, and 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil. Whisk until smooth.
- Dip each frozen cheesecake square into the batter ensuring they are fully coated.
- Carefully place the coated cheesecake squares into the hot oil and fry for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and let drain on paper towels or a cooling rack.
Serving
- Dust the warm Fried Cheesecake with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
