  • 1 pound ground beef Can be substituted with ground turkey or chicken.
  • 1 package slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or American) Pepper Jack or mozzarella can also be used.
  • 1/2 cup diced onions Can be replaced with finely chopped bell peppers or omitted.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Consider replacing with BBQ sauce for a different flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste Freshly cracked pepper enhances flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned.
  3. Add the diced onions and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Mix in mayonnaise and mustard until well combined.
  6. On the slider buns, layer the cooked beef and top with cheese.
  7. Place sliders on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and buns are toasted.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes
