  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined Can use alternatives like scallops or chicken.
Cooking Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp olive oil Quality olive oil enhances flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh is preferred; avoid pre-minced garlic.
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved Adds juiciness to the dish.
  • 1/4 cup white wine Optional; substitute with broth if desired.
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes Adjust to taste for spice level.

Garnishes

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cook the linguine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add the linguine, stirring occasionally, until al dente.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Add cherry tomatoes and white wine; simmer for about 3 minutes.
  5. Toss the cooked linguine in the skillet with the shrimp mixture.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
