  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce Use your favorite marinara for best results.
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 piece egg Optional for extra creaminess.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the gluten-free lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, the egg (if using), oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce at the bottom.
Assembly
  1. Layer noodles, followed by the ricotta mixture, and then a layer of mozzarella cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used, finishing with marinara sauce and topping with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
Baking
  1. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Then, remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 10-15 minutes until the top is bubbly and golden.
Serving
  1. Let it cool slightly before serving.
