For the Wedges
  • 2 pieces russet potatoes (skins on) Ideal for fluffy texture, can substitute with Yukon Gold for a buttery flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with avocado oil for a neutral flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional) Sprinkle immediately after cooking for melting effect.

Preparation
  1. Scrub and cut russet potatoes into wedges.
  2. Soak the wedges in cold water for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Dry the wedges thoroughly with a towel.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
Cooking
  1. Drizzle the wedges with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Toss to coat the wedges evenly.
  3. Arrange seasoned wedges in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Air fry at 400°F for 18-22 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle hot wedges with grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
