Dixie Pork Chops

| 8 | x | Pork chops |
| 1/2 | tsp | Salt |
| 1/2 | tsp | Sage |
| 4 | x | Tart apples, cored & cut in rings |
| 1/4 | cup | Brown sugar |
| 2 | tbl | Flour |
| 1 | cup | Hot water |
| 1 | tbl | Vinegar |
| 1/2 | cup | Raisins |
How to cook :
Brown chops in hot fat; sprinkle with salt and sage.
Place in baking dish; top with apple rings; sprinkle with sugar.
Add flour to fat in skillet; blend.
Add water and vinegar; cook till thick.
Add raisins; pour over chops.
Cover baking dish. Bake in350 degree oven 1 hour.
Notes: If I don't have any sage on hand, I substitute poultry seasoning.
If using fewer pork chops, cut down on amount of salt, sage, apples, and sugar.
Use regular amounts for sauce.
Makes 8 servings.
