Dixie Pork Chops   



Ingredients :
8xPork chops
1/2tspSalt
1/2tspSage
4xTart apples, cored & cut in rings
1/4cupBrown sugar
2tblFlour
1cupHot water
1tblVinegar
1/2cupRaisins

How to cook :


Brown chops in hot fat; sprinkle with salt and sage.
Place in baking dish; top with apple rings; sprinkle with sugar.
Add flour to fat in skillet; blend.
Add water and vinegar; cook till thick.
Add raisins; pour over chops.
Cover baking dish. Bake in350 degree oven 1 hour.
Notes: If I don't have any sage on hand, I substitute poultry seasoning.
If using fewer pork chops, cut down on amount of salt, sage, apples, and sugar.
Use regular amounts for sauce.
Makes 8 servings.
