1-2-3-4 Cake   

Ingredients :
1	cup	shortening (half butter)
2	cup	sugar
3	cup	cake flour
4	x	eggs
4	tsp	baking powder
1	tsp	salt
1	cup	milk
1	tsp	vanilla

How to cook :

Cream butter and shortening add sugar, beat well.
Add eggs one at a time, beating after eachaddition.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt three times.
Add alternately with milk to creamedmixture, saving 3 Tbsp.
flour mixture for final mixing.
Add vanilla. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 F for 1 hour.
Cool; frost or sprinkle with sugar.
