After School Gingersnaps   



Ingredients :
3/4cupButter or Margarine
1/2cupSugar
1/2cupBrown Sugar -- packed
1/4cupDark Molasses
1xEgg
2 1/4cupFlour
1 1/2tspBaking Soda
1/4tspSalt
2tspCinnamon
2tspGinger

How to cook :


In a mixing bowl, cream butter, sugars, molasses and egg.
Combine the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and ginger; add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes (2 1/2 inches) Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake at 375 degrees F for 5 - 6 minutes or until set(do not overbake).
Remove from pans to cool on wire racks.
