Asian Noodle Salad   



Ingredients :
1/4cupsoy sauce
2tblseasoned rice vinegar
1tblAsian sesame oil
1/2tspdried hot red pepper flakes
1xgarlic clove, minced
2tspgrated peeled fresh ginger
3/4lbthin linguine
1cupcoarsely shredded carrot
3xscallions, cut crosswise into thirds and thinly sliced lengthwise
2tblsesame seeds, toasted
6xradishes, halved and thinly sliced

How to cook :


Stir together soy sauce, vinegar, oil, red pepper flakes, garlic, and ginger.
Cook linguine in a large pot of boiling salted water until just tender, then drain in a colander and rinse under cold water until cool.
Toss with dressing, carrot, scallions, sesame seeds, and radishes in a large bowl.
serves 6 as a side dishCooks' note:o Toast seeds in a dry heavy skillet over moderate heat, stirring until fragrant and a shade or two darker.
Or, toast in a shallow baking pan in a 350 F oven, 5 to 10 minutes.
