Ahi with Thai Dipping Sauce

| 4 | x | , 6 ounce Ahi, steaks |
| 1 | tbl | Peppercorns, white, cracked |
| 1 | tbl | Sesame seeds |
| 1 | tsp | Kosher (coarse) salt |
| 1/3 | cup | Lime juice |
| 3 | tbl | Soy sauce, dark |
| 1 | tbl | Fish sauce |
| 2 | tsp | Sugar |
| 1 | tsp | Jalapeno peppers, diced |
How to cook :
For the rub......in a small saucepan combine the peppercorns, salt and sesame seeds.
Roast this mixture until the seeds are lightly toasted, about 5 minutes.
For the sauce....whisk together all remaining ingredients.
Lightly oil both sides of the Ahi and sprinkle on the rub.
Press lightly into flesh.
Grill over high, direct heat.
Sear each side about 1-2 minutes.
Serve with individual portions of the sauce.
